Kenyan music icon Redsan has raised eyebrows with his recent statements.
In an interview with Radio Maisha with host Mwende and Clemmo on #Konnect Party, the artist says he tries to put his personal life away from professional life.

When asked about speculations that he’s controlled by his wife, Redsan says it’s good thing to respect your wife as you respect your mom.
For him, he likes to respect his wife’s decision for he’s not wishing to be left, he loves his marriage way too much.
“YOU HAVE TO RESPECT YOUR WIFE, YOU HAVE TO RESPECT WOMEN, YOU HAVE TO RESPECT THEIR DECISIONS KAMA VILE UNARESPECT MUM, RESPECT YOUR WOMAN THE SAME WAY.”
Redsan continued,
“MTU AKISEMA UNAKALIWA NA BIBI YAKO SEMA KABISA MARA TATU TENA SANA…KINA UBAYA GANI? WE UNATAKA NIONDOKEWE AMA WE UNATAKA NIKALIWE NA NANI? BE PROUD OF YOUR MARRIAGE.”
Redsan’s mum is a Kikuyu and his dad is from Coast. He was brought up in Nairobi and for this case, he is the 12th out of 14 children.
The father of four, two boys and two girls inherited his love for his career in music from his uncle as their family is a big one in Coast region and Zanzibar.
