Milly Chebby’s nanny, Mercy, was overcome with emotion after a well-wisher offered to help clear her rent arrears and cover several months of her housing costs.
The emotional moment was shared by Chebby on Instagram on Thursday, August 20, 2026, after she informed Mercy about the unexpected gesture from a fan identified as Linda.
According to Chebby, Linda reached out after watching an earlier video in which the content creator spoke about Mercy’s financial struggles.
Chebby said Mercy had accumulated rent arrears of KSh4,500 when Linda offered to step in and support her.
The well-wisher pledged to pay Mercy’s rent for six months. Chebby, however, clarified that Linda had initially paid two months’ rent, with the support coming as a major relief to her nanny.
Mercy became emotional after receiving the news, with the surprise adding to a series of gestures aimed at easing the financial pressure on her family.
“Today, we surprise Mercy AGAIN!” Chebby said while sharing the emotional moment with her followers.
The latest support came shortly after Chebby and her husband, Terence Creative, helped pay school fees for Mercy’s children for the third term.
Chebby has continued to highlight Mercy’s circumstances while encouraging her followers to support children from the school who face difficulties meeting education and basic needs.
She said her bigger goal is to help at least 100 children access school fees and meals.
Chebby appealed to her followers to contribute towards the initiative, stressing that even small donations could make a difference in the lives of children from financially struggling families.
