Milly Chebby has found a surprising way to deal with online bullying. Instead of letting the hateful comments break her, she has learned how to turn them into money. And not just small money — she says she can earn up to Sh200,000 from the same trolls who try to bring her down.

In a recent conversation, Milly opened up about the constant body-shaming she faces on social media. Many people make rude comments about her appearance, hoping to hurt her feelings or push her offline. But Milly says she has reached a point where the insults no longer control her.

She explained that every time she posts a video or picture, some people rush to insult her. But what many do not know is that their comments help her content gain more engagement. More engagement means more visibility, and more visibility leads to better deals with brands.

Milly said she now looks at the situation differently. Instead of focusing on the hate, she focuses on the numbers. The more people comment — whether positive or negative — the more her pages grow. She also shared that brands love working with content creators who get high interactions, and this has opened the door to bigger opportunities for her.

According to her, some of the posts that received the most hateful comments ended up giving her the highest income. She laughed as she said, “I post, they troll, I earn,” adding that the same people who try to discourage her unknowingly help her business.

Milly hopes her story will encourage others who face online bullying. She reminded her audience that their value does not come from strangers on the internet. She believes everyone can choose to rise above negativity and even turn it into something useful.

Her message was simple: keep going, stay confident, and never let trolls decide your worth.
