Canadian based Kenyan Lawyer Dr. Miguna Miguna has finally spoken concerning the altercation between President William Ruto and the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who has been accused of taking the property belonging to his late brother.
In a recent more recent altercation with his former Deputy President, President William Ruto did accuse Gachagua of taking the property belonging to his late brother leaving the wife and children of the late brother with nothing.
The Head of State even argued that there are two hotels purported to belong to Gachagua that belonged to his late brother, and that he will do everything possible to ensure justice is served to the late widow and his children.
In his response to the President’s accusations, the former Deputy President has asked the President to stop meddling with the affairs of his family.
Reacting to the altercation between the President and the former Deputy President, Dr. Miguna has told off President William Ruto and termed his attacks against the DCP party Leader as rather childish.
According to Miguna, the issues regarding the will and administration of the estate belonging to late Rigathi Gachagua’s brother is a family affair and the President shouldn’t be a part of such.
Miguna has insisted that the President is wrong to use Gachagua’s family matter for political reasons.
“To President William Ruto. Any issue regarding the will or administration of the estate of Rigathi’s late brother is a matter for his family and the courts. Ruto must not inject himself into it or use it as political football.” Stated the vocal Lawyer and Government critic, Dr. Miguna Miguna.
