Lawyer Miguna Miguna gave Standard Group PLC a seven-day deadline to remove publications that, in his opinion, were detrimental to his reputation.

Miguna expressed regret that the media outlet’s articles about his postponed interview with Spice FM created risks to his reputation through his attorney Adrian Kamotho.

He also believed that he was being made fun of and humiliated by the articles that were written about his supposed unwillingness to sign an indemnity form.

Furthermore, Miguna threatened to file a lawsuit against the media outlet if similar items were published.

On Mashujaa Day, October 20, 2022, Miguna was scheduled to speak with Spice FM four days following his return to Kenya.

The interview was cancelled, though, and the media outlet responded with a statement after a contentious discussion.

However, Miguna was sure that, contrary to what the Standard had claimed, he had not agreed with the corporation to sign any indemnity document.

Notably, the attorney has gained notoriety ever since he left Canada in 2018, when he was exiled. He has been interviewed by media outlets on his situation while his exile.
