Climatic change has become an unpredictable phenomenon that has left many netizens taken aback on the same. However, the Meteorological Department has stepped in at the right time to address the issue.
According to the report released by the Meteorological Department, there will be different occurrences in the parts of the country. Drought is expected to take charge in the Northern parts of the country including Wajir and Turkana counties. Due to intense sunlight, the temperatures in the highlighted areas are expected to rise to over 30°c.
Nature has however turned out to be inconsiderate in some parts of the country. Details in the report show that places near the lake Victoria basin and Nyanza region at large, Coastal region, Central region just to mention a few, will be experiencing a heavy downpour. This therefore calls for netizens who reside in these areas to stay alert and follow all the rules and regulations set aside for purposes of curbing problems that may arise.
Residents who stay in the flood prone areas are urged to stay calm and alert so as to get the first hand information from the Meteorological Department and evacuate in time if need arises.
