The immediate former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa has officially been welcomed to the Opposition coalition, Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition party by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Matha Karua, and Wiper Democratic Movement party boss Kalonzo Musyoka.

Taking to his social media pages, Wamalwa thanked the trio for welcoming him into the coalition and for further endorsing their party chairman Wafula Wamunyinyi as the coalition’s Flagbearer in the forthcoming Bungoma Senatorial By-elections.
“Thank you Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua for welcoming me to Azimio and endorsing @DAP_Kenya’s @wamunyinyi as our candidate in the Bungoma Senatorial race.” He posted on his social media pages.
He further likened today to the day when they started the Narc movement which formed the government. “To Today’s Serena meeting brings back memories of the previous journey we started here that led to formation of NARC Govt” He added.
