Senior police officer Agnes Ndanu is facing renewed scrutiny as fresh allegations emerge about her past relationship while detectives continue searching for her over the alleged assault of her estranged partner, Nicole Omondi.
Ndanu is being sought by officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in connection with an incident in which Nicole reportedly fell from the sixth floor of an apartment building in Thome Estate, Kasarani. Nicole survived the fall but sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital.
As investigations continue, a source familiar with Ndanu’s previous relationship has claimed that the police officer was formerly involved with a woman identified as Njeri. According to the source, the relationship was characterized by frequent disagreements and alleged incidents of physical violence, which reportedly led Njeri to end the relationship.
However, these allegations have not been independently verified, and authorities have not issued any official statement linking the claims to the ongoing investigation involving Nicole. Investigators have also not indicated whether the reported past relationship forms part of their current inquiries.
Detectives are working to establish the sequence of events that led to Nicole’s injuries. Preliminary reports indicate that Nicole and Ndanu had been drinking together before an argument allegedly broke out. It is claimed that the dispute began after Ndanu accused Nicole of infidelity, with the confrontation reportedly escalating into violence.
