His name is Tony Waiguru Njuguna. He studied law from India. He was brought up in a well off, low key and christian family background where his father was an MP in Murang’a. He was a loving husband to the current Kirinyaga governor, Anne Mumbi Waiguru before they divorced in 2003 due to complicated reasons.
They met at Lighthouse church in the 1990s and they made love at first sight. The couple that seemed perfect to people’s eyes wed and that is where Anne called herself Waiguru and she decided to retain the name even after breaking up. They were blessed with three handsome sons, Ian, Don and Wabu.
Anne loved his husband to the point that she bought him a BMWX5 car and a flamboyant mansion in Kiambu. Tony on the other hand was also supportive and caring to his lovely wife. Unfortunately, the marriage couldn’t work and they went too silent for about some time until when Anne was appointed as the Cabinet Secretary for devolution is when they met and sort their issues peacefully. Up to now they are in good terms and are actually co-parenting their children. The Kirinyaga governor then met her current husband at Karura community church in 2009.
His name is Kamotho Waiganjo whose proffesion is a city lawyer.
