Denis Itumbi has slammed Daily Nation over their newspaper headline ‘How Saying deal split Ruto men’. According to Itumbi the headline is mere sideshow being used to entertain Kenyans.
The article written in the newspaper has revealed that there is a feud between Denis Itumbi and Ruto’s speech writer Eric Ngeno, a narrative which Itumbi went ahead to dismiss.
Denis Itumbi said that he has been working with Eric Ngeno for the past decade and that there is no way they have bad working relationships as per the allegations by the article.
As per the article, there is a court case which involves Itumbi and Eric Ngeno as it has exposed how the power struggles between the duo has escalated over the spying deal with Kenyan – Canadian citizen.
The foreign citizen is said to have filed a lawsuit demanding for the compensation of Ksh. 170 Million for the damages caused to him in spying deal that was not executed due to breach of contract. She later pulled out from the deal due to much interference from the interested parties in government.
