Steve Jaboma’s unfortunate news surprised and grieved many people, as he was a decent man. The former teacher died on Tuesday morning, October 7, as a result of an underlying medical problem.
“It is with sorrowful heart that I announce the death of Steve Omondi (Jaboma). He had traveled to the United States to visit his relatives when he became unwell and passed away while there.
Steve lost his beloved wife three years ago. “Let us keep his children in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” The Maseno School Kenya wrote.
Jaboma, a high school teacher famed for his towering height, worked at Maseno School in the early 2000s.
He died at Baystate Hospital in Massachusetts, USA. He had traveled to the United States to visit his relatives when he became unwell and passed away while there.

Steve formerly taught at Maseno School and later at the Technical University of Mombasa, where he was a colleague in the Department of Information and Technology Studies,” the Maseno School Kenya article stated.
