Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua on 15th November morning resurfaced online with a bold reaction to reports that Zimbabwe opposition activist has been found dead.
Speaking via her official twitter handle, Karua expressed her condolences calling on President Mnangagwa to speed up investigations to address security of those in opposition.
“What a tragedy my prayers and sympathies to @CCCZimbabwe The president @edmnangagwa should ensure speedy investigations and address security especially of those with divergent views @AUC_MoussaFaki @AUC_PAPS @achpr_cadhp”, she wrote.
Her statement comes off in line with a statement from Uganda’s opposition leader Kizza Bessigye.
” Distressingly familiar!! My thoughts and prayers go to the family of Tapfumanei Masaya, CCC leader @nelsonchamisa, CCC & all Zimbabwean activists. This underpins urgent need for African pro-freedom/democracy activists uniting to ensure final liberation of Africa. @MarthaKarua”, Kizza wrote.
However reacting to his statement, kenyans expressed their views via their official twitter handles as follows:
Chris: Final liberation? When the opposition is in bed with neocolonialists? Africa is under bread and butter politics. @kizzabesigye1 had some reasonable sight but the new comers are simply bread chasers.
Mavic: But which country in this world has democracy?? We used to think it’s USA but we see there now the minority voice is strong than that of the majority so democracy is a scam.
Mkarungi: This is very sad, this is why we love President Museveni who doesn’t believe in eliminating his political opponents, he prefers them alive regardless of how tough or hard the terrain gets for him sometimes.
