mama Ngna

Mama Ngina Kenyatta reportedly acquired 1,006 acres of land in Dandora for KSh 200,000 from Hendrik Rensburg in the months leading up to her becoming Kenya’s First Lady.

The land acquisition stands out because of the size of the property and the amount reportedly paid for it. The 1,006 acres made up a substantial parcel of land in Dandora, an area within Nairobi.

In addition to the Dandora property, Mama Ngina was among the Kenyans reported to own land along the Nairobi–Thika Highway. Her ownership of properties along the route was documented in Kenyan Notice No. 6035, signed by the then Commissioner of Lands, Mabea.

According to the notice, the former First Lady owned six plots along the Nairobi–Thika Highway. The document identified her among the landowners with properties situated along the major transport corridor.

The reported land holdings therefore included the 1,006-acre parcel in Dandora, acquired for KSh 200,000, and six plots along the Nairobi–Thika Highway.

These two details highlight the extent of Mama Ngina’s reported property ownership in the areas mentioned. The Dandora acquisition involved a large tract of land, while the six plots were located along the Nairobi–Thika Highway, according to the cited notice.
