Vocal Kiharu constituency Member of Parliament Hon Ndindi Nyoro has suffered a huge blow after government officials boycotted his event in Kiharu constituency.

According to latest reports, the vocal United Democratic Alliance party allied lawmaker was set to launch an Assistant County Commissioner office which he built using his Constituency Development Fund but area chiefs and police officers boycotted the event under unclear circumstances.

This comes a day after Ndindi Nyoro addressed a press conference at his offices in KICC buildings where he protested government decision to remove him as the chairperson of the Budget and Appropriation Committee in the national assembly. Ndindi Nyoro said no one from the ruling Kenya Kwanza administration consulted him before he was kicked out of the powerful position.

Similarly, Ndindi Nyoro said that he does jot understand why he was removed from chairing Budget and Appropriation Committee. He also went ahead to disclose that his relationship with President William Samoei Ruto has been cold since he last spoke to the head of state on October last year.

Ndindi Nyoro relationship with his boss took a different turn of events after he failed to participate in the impeachment of former Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua. During the impeachment day, the vocal Kiharu constituency Member of Parliament did not participate in voting.

He has also not declared his stance in the ongoing political situation in the country. It is not clear whether he is still supporting President William Samoei Ruto to former Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua. However, political pundits argue that his recent treatment especially being removed as Chairperson of Budget and Appropriation Committee is due to his links with Gachagua camp.
