According to African sports journalist Collins Okinyo,legendary football star Macdonald Mariga has beeb removed from office by FKF president.The reports have indicated that his position has been taken by Yusuf Abdalla who was a NEC member.The reason for his removal has not been revealed upto now.Mariga and Hussein won the elections together as the new FKF bosses but his removal has now raised more questions than answers.
The national team Harambee Stars has been facing a huge problem in recent times starting from the squad selection where some players have been called into the team only to be removed the same day.This is happening at the time when the team should be preparing for the upcoming CHAN competition. Mariga is yet to speak about his removal.
