Lydia Wanjiru

Kenyan influencer Lydia Wanjiru has once again become a trending topic on social media after unveiling the results of her latest Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure, drawing mixed reactions from fans and followers.

The popular relationship advice content creator, known for her outspoken personality and openness about cosmetic enhancements, recently shared photos and videos showcasing her new look. However, shortly after the posts went live, some followers began questioning the symmetry of her enhanced figure, particularly around the hips.

Lydia has previously undergone several cosmetic procedures, including a tummy tuck and arm liposuction. In her most recent transformation in early 2026, she revealed that the BBL involved fat transfer from her arms to help further sculpt her body. Despite her excitement about the results, online discussions quickly shifted to criticism, with some users suggesting that one side of her hips appeared larger than the other.

As debate intensified, others came to her defence, praising her confidence and body positivity while arguing that early results from such procedures often take time to settle.

Responding to the concerns, Lydia clarified that what many are noticing is part of the normal healing process. She explained that temporary insertions used during the procedure can create uneven appearances, which are expected to improve as recovery continues and adjustments are made.

Despite the backlash, she remains firm in her stance on body enhancement, encouraging women to make personal choices without fear of judgment. In a previous statement, she said, “When you get that money and the desire to do your body, don’t hold yourself back.”

Lydia has also previously spoken about the challenges of cosmetic surgery, describing the initial recovery period as extremely painful. However, she maintains that her decisions are intentional and well considered.

Her latest transformation has reignited wider discussions on beauty standards, body autonomy, and the growing influence of cosmetic surgery within social media culture.
