The sassy Citizen TV news anchor infact took to her Instagram account to announce that she was today going to attend the farewell ceremony of her demised grandmother.

Lillian Muli further disclosed that the event was being held somewhere in Machakos County, and she even shared a short video clip showing how she was on her way there driving her car.

She further mourned the departed matriarch by posting a previous photo that they had taken together while she was still alive, and accompanied it with a caption saying that she loves her.

“Love you mwaitu” she wrote.

Lillian Muli further accompanied the post with a Gospel song, which talks about how God never leaves anyone when they’re weak and broken.

The song is called ‘God Is In The Story’, sang by Big Daddy Weave and Katy Nichole.

Aside from that, the Citizen TV journalist also shared a photo where she had donned black clothes to show she was mourning.

Behind her was someone holding a program of the funeral of the grandmother as shown below.

Even though Lillian Muli never disclosed more details about the departed grandmother, what we know for sure is that she had atleast two great-grandchildren when she was still alive.

These are the two sons of the news anchor, namely Joshua and Liam Francis.

Lillian Muli got the former from her first marriage to Kanene, and the latter from her second relationship with Shabana FC boss Jared Nevaton Ombongi.

The late matriarch was also the grandmother to Lillian Muli’s two little known siblings, who are all reportedly boys, now men.
