During his daily errands in Trans-Nzoia County, Governor George Natembeya’s motorcade came across a small helpless girl, who was just selling Ovacados by the roadside, from how she was dressed, you could just know that she comes from a low income family, and she was out to atleast make sure that ends meet.
Governor Natembeya was moved by this, he instructed his security to call the little girl to go to his car, the ever charming Governor, asked the little girl what she was doing on the road, she told him that she was helping her mother in selling Ovacados, so that they could make ends meet. The Governor was moved by this, he told the girl to bring all the Ovacados she was selling to his vehicle.
The Governor bought all the Ovacados and gave them to, people who had started to gather around the Governor, all the Ovacados were distributed to everyone who was around. He took a one thousand shilling note and gave it to the girl. On top of it, he also gave the girl a loaf of bread.
Many people have being moved by this act of empathy and kindness by the governor, and also how he is a down to earth leader.
