Azimio la Umoja diehard support Brenda Kangai sent residents who attended the Limuru III meeting wild after accusing Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua of selling false hope to the residents of Mt Kenya about Kenya Kwanza government.
Kangai who spoke on behalf of youths from Mt Kenya region during the meeting, brought the second in command under fire for always telling Mt Kenya residents about their shares in the government.
The outspoken opposition supporter held Gachagua by his words and requested him to take the shares that belongs to the region as he has always promised in the back. Her speech triggered some noise from his audience who were in agreement with her.
“Mr Gachagua you are the one who kept reminding us that our shares are in the government. We want you to bring for us the shares” Kangai said before the crowd shouted “alete” which loosely translates to “let him bring.”
Mr Gachagua has in the recent past been seen a person championing for the interest of Mt Kenya region in the Kenya Kwanza government, maintaining that the region should get more development having voted for Ruto during the 2022 polls.
Other leaders who attended the Limuru III meeting also accused the Kenya Kwanza government led by President Ruto of neglecting the region after overwhelmingly voting for him in the previous elections.
