The Mash Bus Company has spoken out after a passenger, Adelle Omondi, claimed she was left untreated after falling ill during a trip.
The company’s general manager, Lennox Shallo, said they had “never heard of such a case before.”
Shallo explained that when Adelle became sick on the bus, they found her in bad shape.
They reported the incident to the police and took her to the hospital before leaving. However, Adelle later said she did not receive proper medical care.
Shallo responded by saying Adelle never returned to the company to complain about the lack of treatment.
He also explained why the bus company did not share details of Adelle’s seatmate. According to Shallo, they do not give out passengers’ personal information for privacy reasons.
The company insists they followed the right steps but are willing to look into the matter further if needed.
Adelle’s case has raised questions about passenger safety and emergency responses on public transport.
Many are now calling for clearer policies to protect travelers in such situations.
