If you frequently visit social media pages you must have come across Esther Baumbach at some point. She is a social media influencer and business lady based in Dubai who is well grounded to be distracted by naysayers.
She was the first wife to the late Kikuyu benga musician Mighty Salim who died two years ago. Some hours ago she posted a tbt photo talking about when she was struggling in Nairobi after they parted way with the Benga musician. She said the photo was taken when she was working at honeypot club in Rongai before leaving Kenya 12 years ago.
In the club she used to perform few secular songs which she understood and the management encouraged her making her whom she is today. She said through the job she was able to feed her kids although it was hand to mouth since much had gone on along the way. She added that she had started as a waitress in Westlands that being where she started the journey as a single mother.
