CNN journalist Larry Madowo is the latest journalist to cry foul alleging a plot to injure him and arrest him.
Speaking via his official twitter handle, Larry Madowo claimed that a Nairobi politician hired goons to attack him while covering protests.
He added that government bloggers are calling for his arrest vowing not to be afraid of anything.
“A Nairobi politician offered paid goons a bonus if they attacked me while covering protests.Pro-government voices are calling for me to be arrested. But I will not be intimidated”, he wrote.
His statement comes off as kenyans are marking saba saba with protests across the country with Nairobi, Mombasa, Kirinyaga being the most affected.
