Kyla may have thought her plans were safely hidden, but an unexpected witness could now become a serious threat to everything she is trying to accomplish.
After returning to the mansion, Kyla made a private phone call and spoke in a way that immediately suggested she was dealing with something she did not want others to know about. She mentioned a woman from the Coast and made it clear that she was unhappy with the woman’s closeness to her man.
Kyla appeared confident as she discussed what she wanted done. She seemed convinced that the conversation was happening away from anyone who might interfere with her plans.
Unfortunately for her, Tinah was close enough to hear what was being said.
Tinah did not interrupt the conversation or reveal that she had discovered Kyla’s secret. Instead, she quietly took in the information and allowed Kyla to finish without raising suspicion.
That could prove to be a very important decision.
Tinah now has knowledge that Kyla clearly never intended to share. More importantly, Kyla has no idea that someone else knows about her intentions.
This puts Tinah in a powerful but difficult position. She could confront Kyla and force her to explain herself, or she could remain silent and observe what Kyla does next.
For Kyla, the danger is no longer simply the plan she appears to be making. The bigger problem is that someone close to her may already know enough to expose it.
