Ghanaian-American comedian Michael Blackson has publicly confirmed the end of his long-term relationship with fiancée Rada, following revelations that he fathered a child with his female best friend. In an emotional post on social media, the 53-year-old entertainer opened up about the turmoil of recent months, describing them as a blend of “joy and heartbreak.”
Blackson disclosed that he recently became a father to two baby boys born just two months apart — one with Rada and another with a close friend he has known for over five years. “Two months after Rada gave birth to little Mikey, my female friend gave birth to my son, King Kweku Blackson,” he wrote. “God has blessed me, but in blessing me came a lot of pain.”
He expressed deep remorse over how events unfolded, admitting that while he cherishes his new children, the situation cost him his relationship with Rada. “My two boys have brought me happiness, but they also caused me to lose Rada,” he confessed. Blackson said he hopes she will eventually find it in her heart to forgive him, emphasizing that he never intended to hurt her.
Despite the heartbreak, the comedian maintained his trademark humor, quipping that he might now “only date women who can’t have children” to avoid further complications. Yet, behind the joke lay a serious commitment — to focus entirely on being a responsible and loving father.
