Ann Shiku is a renown Kikuyu gospel musician and a social media influencer who is well grounded to be distracted by neysayers. She is among Kenyan celebrities who have moved from grass to fame through hardwork and determination within the shortest period of time.
She become more popular in 2019 after her husband Allan Aaron divorsed her without any explanation. In an interview with Jeff Kuria, she explained that Allan come back from USA with a resolution of divorsing her which he did without consulting or informing her up to date.
He left her with four children where their first Born is now 13 years old, second born 11 years, third born 9 years and last born 6years old. She went ahead and said as a result of the divorse people created a lot of false stories about her staining her reputation while trying to figure out the cause if the divorse since Allan didn’t explain.
She moved on with her life and decided to raise her children as a single mother thanking God she is now able and on her feets again. Many knew her with a turban but she come to the interview with a new hairstyle which left them wondering on what happened. She made it clear that she is no longer a member of Akurinu church and she removed the turban in may this year joining another church.
Her main reason for removing the turban was becouse she had not attended the Akurinu church from the year 2009. She also realized that she was no longer one of their members after they failed to stand with her when she was going through her hardest period in her life after the divorse.
