Kenyans have reacted after Deputy President Rugathi Gachagua’s alleged traps failed totally to stop Azimio One Kenya leader Raila Odinga from accessing State House.
DP Gachagua’s conspicuous absence during King Charles III’s much-anticipated visit to the country had caused a buzz on social media. The monarch landed in the country on the evening of Monday, October 30, for their day four-day tour of the country.
Ruto received them at State House Nairobi on the morning of Tuesday, October 31, and the noticeable absence of the deputy president on such a momentous occasion got tongues wagging. The deputy president also missed the state banquet organised at State House Nairobi. The banquent was attended by Azimio leaders.
Kenyans wondered how Gachagua’s alleged traps failed to block Mr Odinga’s way to State House.

Gachagua held a cabinet meeting immediately after his return from Belgium and Germany where he was on an official basis.
