Evance’s viral TikTok video about her shift from posing as a woman to embracing a masculine identity received diverse reactions.

The video documented her looks before and after surgery, eventually displaying a bearded look that astonished many.

While some Kenyans admired Evance’s candor and authenticity, others admitted that they were bewildered.

The influencer, known as @evance_evance, shared a video of herself as a woman and her appearance after the metamorphosis.

Evance appeared in the first image wearing a black shirt, dreadlocks, and sunglasses. “I was once a tomboy girl, then I switched to a man unapologetically,” she captioned the video.

The next image showed Evance after what appeared to be a mastectomy, as she was wearing bandages on her upper torso.

The third slide was noticeably different, depicting the TikToker as masculine, replete with a beard. She wore sneakers, shorts, a shirt, and a leather jacket.

Evance also demonstrated the healing process of her mastectomy. The video represented the content producer getting increasingly masculine.

Evance expressed pride in her decision in the caption. “I’d like to thank myself for believing I could be my actual, authentic self. She wrote, “For becoming Him.”

The video sparked numerous questions, including how Evance handled with her menstruation. “How did you stop having monthly periods?

“I am tired of losing blood,” a netizen inquired. “A hysterectomy, my dear. “Also, testosterone stopped the periods,” she said. The Cleveland Clinic defines a hysterectomy as a surgical operation that removes the uterus.

Some Kenyans applauded the decision, while others expressed confusion about it.Here is an example of what they had to say: Mshirika, kijanake.

Maggie: “Where did you get your beard?” Dee’s response: “I am so proud of you, darling.” Emily Wanja: “I am more than confused after watching this.”
