A Canadian judge has approved the deportation of a Kenyan preacher and her two daughters after her appeal was rejected.

Rosalind Wanyeki.also known as Reverend Hadassah and her children were scheduled to be sent back from Toronto on Thursday aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight and arrive in Nairobi on Friday afternoon.

Ms. Wanyeki had asked for more time to stay in Canada saying that her life would be in danger in Kenya and that she planned to apply for permanent residency.

However, the immigration judge yesterday gave the go-ahead for her deportation after the family’s final asylum request was turned down.

She claimed she fled persecution in Kenya in 2020 and moved to Toronto where she has been running a gospel ministry. In her interview she said that life in Kenya is hard thus she should be allowed to stay there.

Many Kenyans were so concerned about the act and asked the Kenya government to intervene.

As other citizens ask her to get back to her country as they doubt her whether she is a true pastor.

Many people have gone outside the country to look for greener pastures since the live in Kenya is so expensive since there are no enough jobs.
