Details have emerged of the death of Kenya’s greatest of all time musician, who was well known by his stage name as Teddy Kalanda Harrison. The musician, was viewed as one of the music legends in the country, as he was one of the founding members, of ‘Them Mushroom’ band, that celebrated fifty years anniversary in the year 2022. He is also remembered for composing great hit songs such as ‘Jambo Kenya’ which simply translates to how are you Kenya.
According to reports, posted on the official Facebook pages of Tuko.co.ke, the musician Teddy Harrison died after a prolonged battle with cancer, which had also claimed his eyesight, before it claimed his life too. Further reports, indicate that he had been suffering from cancer since 2018. He has died aged seventy two years.
