A quiet Kenyan family in Georgia, United States, has been hit by tragic news after a mother and her two daughters were found murdered in their home.
46-year-old Jane Kuria and her daughters, Isabella (19) and Annabelle (16), were bludgeoned to death in Powder Springs. Her seven-year-old son, Jeremy, and her 11-year-old nephew survived the attack but were left clinging to life with severe injuries. Jane had fled Kenya in 2002 to seek asylum, escaping threats over her anti-FGM activism after her husband was killed.
A family member discovered the scene after Jane failed to answer her phone for over 30 hours. Cobb County police revealed there were no signs of forced entry, leaving the local Kenyan community in deep shock and fear.
“The scene was extremely violent and dark,” an investigator noted, adding that the perpetrator likely knew the victims. Police are continuing their search for the killer as neighbors gather to support the heartbroken survivors.
