A dramatic scene was witnessed at the late Raila Odinga’s Opoda Farm in Bondo after an unauthorized man attempted to gain entry into the house of the former prime minister of Kenya.
A video that shared by NTV Kenya shows the Kenya Defence Forces soldiers pulling the man out of the house, he was restrained before he was taken to an unknown location, an incident that took place in Bondo On October 18th, 2025.
Kenyans who took to Facebook to react to the incident sent their condolences to the family and friends of Mama Ida Odinga following the death of Raila who succumbed to a Cardiac arrest at the age of 80 in India Hospital, on October 15th, 2025. They also thanked the KDF for a job well done.
The body of the deceased was airlifted back to Kenya on October 16th, his body was taken to Kasarani Stadium for viewing, it was also taken to Nyayo Stadium on October 17th, 2025.
Winnie Odinga, the daughter of the former prime minister of Kenya revealed that the deceased passed away in her hands dismissing reports claiming that he collapsed and died. His family also revealed that Raila had asked to be buried 72hrs after his death.
