Celebrated Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau alias Kate Actress has opened up about her life, and disclosed that she was recently conned some money by a person whom she had assumed was a legit businessperson.
The award-winning actress was actually left frustrated after she ordered a dress from the Mavazi Collections Facebook page, and ended up not getting that dress.
According to Kate Actress, she had paid Kshs 6,500 to a lady who is called Grace Kamau who works at Mavazi Collections, and she had the phone number of 0720429485. This was over the weekend on Saturday.
After she made the payment, the award-winning actress thought that the dress would be delivered to her as they had agreed.
Kate Actress was however shocked after the dress was not delivered. To make things worse, she even tried to call the people working at Mavazi Collections to complain about the situation, but all her calls were blocked.
In a post that the talented actress made on her Facebook account, she further warned netizens to be careful not to be conned by Mavazi Collections like the way she was conned.
“BUYER BEWARE!! Mavazi Collections someone buys an outfit from you on Saturday, then they wait all day, you don’t deliver, they have been calling you una block all the numbers!!! SHAME ON YOU!!! DO YOU KNOW HARD KENYANS WORK FOR THEIR MONEY…” Kate Actress wrote.
