Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has sparked reactions after sharing a message about her spiritual life on her official Facebook page.
Nyamu posted a video and accompanied it with a message saying that one of the most important moments in her spiritual journey was discovering that she could communicate with God directly.
“The most liberating moment in my spiritual life was realizing I could hear God without a middleman,” Nyamu wrote.
Her statement quickly attracted comments from Kenyans, with many followers responding humorously to her use of the word “middleman.”
One follower urged the senator to reveal more, writing:
“Share with us what he told you madam, usituchoche hapa.”
Another commenter joked:
“Middle man is only needed to drill the cut.”
Others appeared to connect the message to Nyamu’s personal life, with one writing:
