In the past few days or so, the name Theresie Nyirakajumba has been making the headlines.
This is because of her unique situation of still being a virgin at 123 years of age, who is still looking for a man to love her.

The Rwandan woman confessed to this in an interview with Afrimax media, where she shared that she has never caught any romantic feelings for men.
This therefore left her embracing her life as a single woman.
“People often ask me about love and relationships and how I’ve managed to reach this age without a boyfriend or a lover. Well my story is a bit different”.
“Yes of course I’m still a virgin…I would think of it during my era but I could not take myself to a husband” Theresie Nyirakajumba said.
According to reports however, the main reason why she has not yet found love is because of her cultural upbringing, where it was considered wrong to interact with boys and men.
This therefore made her feel some difficulties in developing the connections with the opposite gender.
Karen Nyamu reacts
As mentioned above, Theresie Nyirakajumba’s story left many people talking online.
It elicited mixed reactions, and some were positive while others were negative.
One of the people who also reacted to it is controversial Kenyan lawyer-cum-politician Karen Nyamu, and she infact laughed at how the woman was still a virgin at 123-years-old.
According to the legislator, Theresie brought the problems to herself because of how she used to turn down potential suitors.
Karen Nyamu infact made it clear that she cannot stay that long like her as a virgin, even if she was to go back in time.
“Huyu nitamcheka bila huruma. Huyu alikua deputy Jesus wa ku judge happy girls huku nje. N issuing empty threats 🤣 zile za naija films. Eti the bible says 🤣 yeye ndio anaelewa Bible kuliko everyone…”
The mother of three added:
“Ona vile kimemramba 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nitagulwaaa, ninagulwaaaaa 😂”.
