Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu is once again the name on everyone’s lips after a cheeky Facebook post turned into a full-blown online war of words.
Nyamu had taken to social media to praise George Ruto’s extravagant new matatu, Mood, which was unveiled in style at KICC on July 19.
The matatu, now dubbed Kenya 1, has been making waves with its bucket seats, solar panels, and inbuilt DJ booth—quickly becoming Nairobi’s newest street sensation.
Clearly impressed, Nyamu posted a nostalgic caption:
“Hii nganya nayo lazima nipande squad ka mbili hadi maskio ifanye ndrrr niskie fiti. Millennials wa Eastlando can relate.”
While many laughed along, one bold fan stirred the pot, accusing Nyamu of “eyeing” George Ruto romantically. Without hesitation, the senator clapped back with a line so sharp, one netizen simply commented,
“Siwezi ambiwa hivyo. Hii nayo haina comeback.”
