Influencer Triza Njeri and her estranged husband Karangu Muraya have been trending for the last several days.
A leaked recording surfaced that showed Karangu and Triza’s friends, Esther Baumbach and Tata Essy, chatting about her.
During an interview with Muthoni Wa Kirumba aka Baby Top, Triza discussed the apology Karangu wrote for her.
Triza stated that she was letting the pressure go and remarked sarcastically that she never airs out her garments in public. She also mentioned how readily we forget and remember.
Triza stated, “I’m doing well…” I’m going to have some ugali and tea to ease my worries. I never hang my clothing outside; even when I know it’s about to rain, I swiftly bring them inside. Humans are human; they forget, then remember again.”
Triiza stated that she was attempting to be strong and had toughened herself over time. I’m stronger than ever before.
“If we don’t toughen up now, when will we?” When confronted about her husband’s lengthy apologies, Triza denied viewing it online.
She claimed she had heard about it, but Karangu had supposedly blocked her on Facebook. “I have not seen any letters.
You guys chose to block me and take me to Shakahola. Now, before you write someone a letter, shouldn’t you get them out of Shakahola? I have not seen anything.
Maybe you’ve seen them because you’re not in Shakahola, which is open to the public,” Triza explained. Triza stated that she was not accepting the apologies and was content with being blocked.
She said, “You can take that apology if you want, but it is your responsibility, not mine. I was sent to Shakahola and made peace with it. (Shakahola is slang meaning getting obstructed.)”
