Kameme FM has been hit with a major shake-up after two of its top presenters, Muthee Kiengei and Kihenjo, officially joined rival station Inooro FM.

The popular duo is set to co-host the highly popular KIKI Show every Tuesday, a move that has excited fans and shaken the Kikuyu radio industry.

Kiengei and Kihenjo have been household names at Kameme FM, where they built a loyal following thanks to their entertaining style, comedy, and chemistry on air. Their departure marks the end of an era at the Mediamax-owned station.

Inooro FM, owned by Royal Media Services, confirmed the big move, welcoming the two presenters with pomp. The station revealed that they will be bringing fresh vibes, laughter and real-life discussions to the KIKI Show, which airs every Tuesday.

Fans have reacted with mixed emotions. While Kameme FM listeners are disappointed to lose their favourite voices, Inooro FM fans are celebrating the new addition.

“From Kameme to Inooro! The game has changed. Kiengei and Kihenjo are about to light up Inooro FM,” a fan commented.

“This is a big win for Inooro. KIKI Show just got bigger and better,” another added.

The move is seen as a strategic blow for Inooro FM in the battle for Kikuyu radio dominance, as the station continues to poach top talent to strengthen its lineup.

Kameme FM is yet to officially comment on the exit of the duo.
