Social media is full of surprises every single day; however, some people misuse it by stating whatever comes to mind, thereby confusing others with questions of truth and lies.
On Friday, March 21st, a video featuring a woman named Ruth surfaced, in which she claims to be the ex-wife of popular Kameme FM presenter Gatonye wa Mbugua, who hosts the Arahuka show from 6 AM to 10 AM.
In the video, Ruth alleges that Gatonye neglected his responsibilities and had issues with infidelity before she decided to leave him. She also claims that he was given custody of their three children and that they are suffering under his care.
In response, Gatonye stated that the couple parted ways seven years ago due to Ruth’s infidelity. He asserts that he was granted custody of the children, who have been doing well living with him.
Gatonye believes that Ruth has been expecting him to financially support her despite their separation. When he refused to do so, she began trying to tarnish his reputation.
Gatonye remarked that if Ruth is seeking pity and financial assistance from the public to start a new life, she should be honest about it instead of using his name to gain attention.
Many people are left wondering whom to believe, but a significant number are siding with Gatonye, as he had previously warned them about the potential for Ruth to make these claims.
