The People’s Liberation Party (PLP) Party Leader Martha Karua has been thrown into mourning following the death of her senior colleague in the legal profession.
Taking to her official X account, Senior Counsel Martha Karua mourned the death of Kanyeihamba, a senior lawyer in the Republic of Uganda.
Karua mentioned Kanyeihamba as a legal luminary who inspired colleagues in the profession not just in Uganda but the whole East African region.
“My deepest condolences to the family and friends of @pgwkanyeihamba a legal luminary in Uganda and @jumuiya and beyond, he has left indelible footprints. May he rest in peace,” Martha Karua stated.
She was replying to an X user who mourned him as, “a legal giant, prolific writer & rule of law champion rests.”
