Monday, the 29th of September, was indeed a special day for former Citizen TV news anchor Waihiga Mwaura.
This is because on the day, his wife Joyce Omondi, who is a renowned gospel musician and also a presenter at Citizen TV, officially turned a year older.
Like any other loving husband out there who is usually proud of the milestones of his wife, Waihiga Mwaura, who is actually currently a journalist at the BBC, was also proud of Joyce Omondi’s birthday, and therefore he celebrated it in style.
Taking to his instagram account, he penned for her a heartwarming message in which he pampered her with love and praises.
Waihiga Mwaura also wished Joyce Omondi the very best with regards to this new chapter of her life.

As Joyce Omondi turns a year older today, it should be noted that she has been married to Waihiga Mwaura for close to a decade now.
According to reports, the lovebirds did their wedding on the 18th of December, 2015, after them dating for awhile.
The venue for the event was actually the Sawela Lodge in Naivasha, and it was attended by their family members as well as their close friends, among them being some of their fellow media personalities.
