Jeff Koinange

Kenyan journalist and TV star Jeff Koinange has finally broken his silence after months away from his famous show, Jeff Koinange Live (JKL). Many fans had been worried and speculating about his sudden disappearance from Citizen TV screens.

In a short video shared by radio host Maina Kageni on X, Jeff appeared relaxed and smiling. He assured his supporters that he is doing well and will soon return to television. “Hey folks, Jeff Koinange here.

Just want to let you know that all is good, all the time, and I’m gonna be back very, very soon — sooner than you know. So, hang in there,” Jeff said.

Maina Kageni, his close friend and Hot 96 co-host, also comforted fans, saying Jeff was perfectly fine and preparing for a comeback. “Jeff is doing great and will be back on our screens very soon. Jeff, get back,” Maina said.

Online, Kenyans expressed excitement and relief after seeing Jeff again. Some fans shared how much they had missed his deep voice and fiery interviews. Others said his return would bring life back to prime-time TV.

For months, rumors had been spreading that Jeff had been fired or suspended from Citizen TV. His show, JKL, continued to air with other hosts, making the public more curious.

However, his Hot 96 colleague, Fanya Mambo Kinuthia, dismissed the claims, saying Jeff was never fired and that gossip had been blown out of proportion.

Jeff ended his short message by thanking his fans and blessing them warmly. His calm tone and confident smile gave hope that Kenya’s “king of the airwaves” will soon return to the screen, stronger than ever.
