Royal Media Services has announced a temporary programme reshuffle across its radio stations, moving several top presenters to new time slots in a bid to offer listeners a fresh experience.

Big names like Jeff Koinange, Nick Odhiambo Igunza, Tina Ogal, Mzazi Willy M Tuva, and Jeff Kuria are part of the shake-up, which insiders say is meant to break monotony and challenge presenters creatively.

On Hot 96, the high-profile duo Jeff Koinange and Igunza will leave the Breakfast Show to take over the Drive Show, marking one of the most notable switches in the line-up.

Radio Citizen is also seeing significant changes. The Drive Show team—Tina Ogal, Abdi Munai, and Kuka Kisondio, will now host the morning programme Jambo Kenya, while Vincent Ateya, Philip Murutu, and Melody Sinzore, the current Jambo Kenya team, will take over the Drive Show.

Mzazi Willy M Tuva will move from Mambo Mseto to join Selly Kadot and DJ Ronnix on Waks Tikitaka, venturing into sheng, football discussions, and reggae—a notable departure from his usual style.

Meanwhile, Q-Tee, Bensu, and DJ Flash will replace him on Mambo Mseto. Mulembe FM will also see a reshuffle, with Breakfast Show host Omar Bakuli shifting to Drive, and Pamela Kadima moving from Drive to mornings.

At Inooro FM, Jeff Kuria and Nyoxx will join veteran broadcaster Nderitu Waihura on the Drive Show, while Waihura takes a break from his late-night slot, with Njuguna and Karwimbo stepping in.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, an insider said the changes aim to “inject new energy into Kenyan radio and offer fresh perspectives on familiar voices.”

The temporary reshuffle has already sparked excitement among listeners, with fans eager to experience their favourite presenters in new roles and time slots across the Royal Media Services network.
