Former Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe is currently indeed among the proudest parents in the world.
This is because her son Zahari Maribe, the one that she birthed with renowned comedian Eric Omondi, who was once her lover, is set to finally sit for his first national examinations.
The 12-year-old is actually among the Grade 6 pupils who are slated to sit for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) soon.
Jacque Maribe disclosed this in a post that she made on her Instagram stories on Tuesday, the 29th of September, where she shared a photo of herself and Zahari Maribe, that was taken at his school.
The former Citizen TV news anchor then accompanied the photo with a caption of her revealing that she had attended the parents-teachers conference that was held today ahead of the national examinations.
Jacque Maribe further used the post to wish her son Zahari Maribe the very best in the upcoming examinations.
“Parents-teacher conference for our candidates…may God go before you, with wisdom, focus, knowledge and strength” she said.
When will KPSEA begin?
The Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) will actually run from Friday, the 23rd of October, 2026, to Wednesday, the 28th of October,
According to reports, Friday, the 23rd of October is a day for rehearsal, while Monday, the 26th of October is the day when the pupils will do their Mathematics and English papers.
On Tuesday, the 27th of October, the pupils will sit for their Integrated Science and Kiswahili papers, while on the 28th of October, the pupils will sit for Creative Arts and Social Studies.
