Celebrated Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia alias Nana is set to finally make her comeback on the screens, after being away for several months.

The mother of two infact revealed this to her fans in a latest post on her Instagram stories, where she disclosed that she had landed a lead role in a new project that is set to be released soon.
Jackie Matubia infact shared a short video clip where she was at the actor’s lounge going through her scripts, and promised her fans that they would love the new show.
“At the actor’s lounge. Going through my scripts. Hii nayo mtapenda, your girl is finally a LEAD actor” she wrote in her caption.
The disclosure comes at a time when Jackie Matubia has been away from the screens for sometime now as an actress.
In the stint however she has been focusing on motherhood, and doing other jobs like brand influencing and working as a brand ambassador.
Her last job on the screens as an actress can be remembered was in the Citizen TV hit series dubbed Zora.
The show aired from March 22, 2021 to March 7, 2022 and she played the character Nana in it.
The role also led to her winning the award for best actress TV drama, at the Women In Film Awards (WIFA) 2022 that took place in March that year.
Aside from featuring as a cast in Zora, Jackie Matubia has also acted in Tahidi High that also used to air at Citizen TV some few years ago. Here the voluptuous mother of two played the character Jolene.
