Friday, the 19th of July, was indeed a special day for renowned Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia and her first baby daddy Kennedy Njogu, who is a pilot.
This is because on the day, their daughter Zari Wanjiku officially turned 9-years-old.
Like any other parents out there, the two were so proud of her milestone that they celebrated it in style.
Jackie Matubia and Kennedy Njogu actually threw Zari Wanjiku a memorable birthday party.
It was however just a simple event that was held at home, with the couple just getting the nine-year-old a cake and a bouquet of flowers.
Jackie Matubia was the one who disclosed this, and this was via a photo that she shared on her Instagram stories that showed how her, Kennedy Njogu and Zari Wanjiku had posed while all smiles.
She then accompanied it with a caption saying:

Apart from the party, the award-winning actress also took to her Instagram account and penned her daughter a heartwarming birthday message.
“9yrs God blessed me with the love of my life…ZARI WANJIKU KAMAU happy birthday ny baby girl mummy loves you 💜. May continue blessing your dad and I to continue giving you the best that life has to offer…To good health I love you with everything being of me. HAPPY 9th Captain” Jackie Matubia wrote.
The talented actress also accompanied the message with 10 photos that captured Zari Wanjiku’s growth journey, from when she was a baby upto now that she is grown.
