The confrontation took place while they were shooting their latest video for publication on YouTube. At the end of the video shoot, Diana Marua called back Bahati and sat him down for the uncomfortable discussion.
According to Diana Marua, she felt like Bahati was being disrespectful to her in public for walking out on her on camera. Diana Marua pointed out that Bahati had developed a habit of always walking off the set before the conclusion of the video shoot.
“Let me tell you, it is disrespectful for you to walk out of my videos. And you have done that so many times. Kama video imeisha toka na heshima (If the video shoot has ended you should exit with respect),” Diana Marua stated.
The short clip which showed Diana Marua lecturing her husband Bahati has gone viral on the internet and sparked varied reactions from social media users. A section of the netizens found it to be a little uncomfortable that Diana Marua confronted her husband live on camera. This group of netizens believed that it would have been better if she had done so off the camera. They argued that such a confrontation was belittling her partner in public.
