Jimmy Wanjigi is one of Kenya’s wealthiest people. But not much is known about the regal billionaire’s lifestyle. Jimmy Wanjigi is the owner of several businesses, one of which is the Kwacha Group, which his father founded.
Prior to being well-known and successful, he spent the most time working for the Company. Jimmy started out as a regular working man but has since developed into a wealthy worldwide business magnate with connections to the elite.
The Wanjigi name is a household when talking about the wealthy in Kenya, however, little is known of how kingly billionaire Jimmy Wanjigi lives. Prior to the 2017 general elections, a police raid at the billionaire’s Muthaiga house gave Kenyans a slight look into his exclusive home.
In February 2020, entrepreneur Oscar Kinoti shared a manuscript that detailed how the $10 million (approximately Ksh 1 billion) home was constructed to perfection.
The home was designed by Perla Lichi, a posh interior design company in the US that works on both residential and commercial projects.
Chinese Feng Shui principles were applied during the building of the house, both inside and out. The setting is enhanced by two outdoor Chinese teahouses. It’s said that the lady of the house goes here to decompress.
It goes without saying that the house is worth millions of dollars and is located close to the US ambassador’s residence.
