Residents of Kabondo Kasipul in Homa Bay County are still finding it hard to come to terms with an incident whereby a form three student was killed during a disco Matanga event thst was held over the weekend in the area.
Elvis Omondi, the 19-year old student at the Keidi Mixed Secondary school, is said to have succumbed to injuries inflicted by a machete on his head, stomach, back and arms.
The deceased had gone to the fidco with some friends at Kakolasiany village only for a fracas to occur between him and the assailants who layer escaped the scene after committing the heinous act.
Confirming the incident is the Kodhoch West location chief, Charles Dete who said that Elvis was rescued by Good Samaritans who rushed him to the Ramula Sub-County Hospital only to be pronounced dead upon arrival.
TThe body of Elvis was taken to Okits mortuary awaiting an autopsy as the police launch a manhunt for the suspects.
