Political commentator Omosh One Hour has issued a pointed warning to Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and other leaders reportedly planning to visit Homa Bay on Sunday.
Omosh claimed that the political visitors should be prepared to communicate with residents in Dholuo, joking that those who cannot speak the language may find themselves struggling to connect with the local electorate.
“Naskia kina Edwin Sifuna wanaenda Homa Bay on Sunday, but wanafaa kujua kuingia Homa Bay password itakuwa kuongea Kijaluo,” Omosh said.
He added that leaders who fail to understand or speak Dholuo should be prepared for a difficult reception.
“Kama hujui kuongea Kijaluo, ile mbio mtakimbia mtajua hamjui,” he remarked.
The comments come amid heightened political activity as various leaders position themselves ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Sifuna has increasingly featured prominently in political debates surrounding the opposition and emerging political formations.
