Report emerging indicates that three mount Kenya politicians are set to benefit more in case deputy president, Rigathi Gachagua, is impeached. Ruto’s allies are reportedly planning to kick out the second in command before December holiday.
In a report from People Daily Newspaper, it’s indicated that interior CS Hon Kithure Kindiki is set to replace deputy president. He was recently appointed as the new Mt Kenya region and over 48 MPs together with over 2000 elders endorsed his appointment.
It’s reported that majority leader, Hon Kimani Ichungwa, will then be appointed as new kingpin interior CS to replace Hon Kithure Kindiki. Ichungwa is known to be a fierce critic of Rigathi Gachagua and he has been in forefront fighting the second in command.
Kiharu Member of Parliament, Hon Ndindi Nyoro, who is also a diehard supporter of president William Ruto will be made the new majority leader of National Assembly to replace Kimani Ichungwa.
Ndindi Nyoro has been silent on the current political division and has never issued any message concerning the plan to impeach Gachagua.
